Airport, Aircraft & Airplane Monitoring & Surveillance Wireless GPRS Camera & Webcam - Observer IV
Airport Operations, Ground Traffic, Parked Aircraft Monitoring & Surveillance Camera
& Webcam
With the Observer IV Aiport Monitoring & Surveillance Camera & Webcam system, small and private airport operations
& facilities personnel, pilots, Fixed Based Operators (FBOs) & aircraft owners can visually monitor or provide
surveillance on a continuous basis for airport operations, parked aircraft and airport ground traffic, at any
airport located any where in the world within GRPS GSM cellular coverage areas.
The Observer camera and webcam can be operated in both day and night, with night vision low light infrared
capability. Our GPRS GSM wireless mobile airport surveillance camera and webcam allows personnel to go to any
computer in the world with an Internet connection and view near real-time digital pictures or images on their
browser, ask for a picture or image to be taken at that time, or schedule pictures to be taken at any desired
time interval. Installation is simple. All that is required is to mount the camera in a location suitable for
acquiring the pictures or images required, such as around parked aircraft, near hangers or other airport
facilities.

Be alerted by Security Breaches & Illegal Trespassing - Transmit Camera or Webcam
Pictures
With the Observer IV camera and webcam, aircraft owners & airport facility & operations personnel can be alerted
when a security breach or illegal trespass at any remote or unsecured area of an airport has occured. Monitoring
and surveillance of remote areas can occur, as long as these areas are located within GPRS GSM cellular coverage
areas.
The Observer camera and webcam system can be automatically triggered to take pictures by external events from
motion detectors, infrared heat sensors, or many other types of remote event triggers and sensors. The camera
and webcam system can be set to automatically take pictures or images at specific intervals of time, for example,
once every 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes. This provides a time-lapse effect when viewing activity at an airport over
the course of several hours or each day. Breaches to security or secure areas can be identified and tracked as
well.

Mobile or Temporary Aiport or Aircraft Surveillance Camera & Webcam
The Observer IV camera and webcam system is easily moved as the visual monitoring and surveillance requirements
for any particular airport or aircraft changes. Observer can be moved as projects or programs are completed and
new initiatives are started. The camera and webcam system can be used for temporary or short-term operations or
facilities surveillance needs. For example, a group of Observer camera systems could be moved into position on a
temporary basis around important or a potentially vulnerable section of the airport to provide continuous,
round-the-clock surveillance and monitoring during some particular event. The camera and webcam system can
easily be moved around any given airport site or to new airport sites as target surveillance areas change.

Private or Commercial Pilots can Monitor Parked Aircraft, Current
Weather Conditions & Current Airport Traffic
Private or commercial pilots can view near real-time camera or webcam pictures or images of their parked aircraft
or airplanes, look at pictures or images of current weather conditions at any airport with an Observer Airport
Surveillance camera and webcam installed, and view pictures of current traffic conditions as well. Pilots can
then have better information to determine if they want to utilize that airport, wait to fly until another time,
or go to an alternate airport.
Pictures or images from the Observer camera and webcam can easily be shared with other personnel for their
viewing of airport activity or even current airport weather conditions from any Internet device.

Viewing Pictures or Images using Your Computer
There are many ways
to view pictures after Observer IV has automatically uploaded them to
an FTP server. Included with Observer IV is FTP client software that
automatically checks the FTP server for new pictures from up to four
cameras simultaneously at user selected time intervals.
You may download Colorado Video's FTPJPGReader software now and try it by following these instructions.
A browser, like the one your using now, may also be used to view pictures.
For instance, just type "ftp://www.colorado-video.com/incoming/" into your browser's address bar to see a list of files on Colorado Video's FTP server.
Click on a ".jpg" to view it.
If you're using the Opera browser, you can set it to automatically update the picture periodically.
Simply click "Navigation" then "Reload Every" and then select your desired update time interval.
Opera has a great feature here because it can be used to update any web page automatically at any time interval you desire.
