Convention organizers, security personnel, exhibitors or convention customers often wish to see current activities,
presentations, shows, crowd levels, traffic & parking lot conditions or even weather conditions at a convention
from a remote location such as their hotel room, or office prior to arriving. With the Observer IV Convention
Monitoring & Surveillance GPRS GSM Wireless Camera & Webcam system, convention facilities and events can be visually
monitored on a continuous basis by personnel located anywhere with access to an Internet connected computer or
phone, particularly those unable to attend or those who need to arrive late or leave early.
The lack of required cabling and quick setup makes the Observer wireless camera and webcam an attractive solution
for both indoor and outdoor activities. The Observer IV can be setup to periodically capture images of any
convention event and place them on the convention web server. Web pages that link to these pictures are easily
constructed. Convention employees, exhibitors, attendents or anyone not in attendance, will still be able to
view images of the proceedings.
If AC power is available, the camera can be configured in continuous mode and the pictures will be updated every
few minutes all day long, otherwise a single set of batteries can provide hundreds of images over the course
of the day . Multiple cameras can provide complete coverage of the entire convention or specific event.
Installation is simple. All that is required is to mount the camera in a location suitable for acquiring the
pictures or images, within a GPRS GSM cellular coverage area.
Observer IV utilizes a wireless GPRS GSM cellular service. Observer can be operated in both day and night,
with night vision low light infrared capability. Our GPRS GSM wireless surveillance camera allows personnel
to go to any computer in the world with an Internet connection and view near real-time digital pictures or images
on their browser, ask for a picture or image to be taken at that time, or schedule pictures to be taken at any
desired time interval.

Images or Pictures
Trade Show & Large Meeting Coordinators can transmit and share near real-time digital camera and webcam pictures
of any indoor or outdoor trade show, parking lot, meeting or other special event to the public through the
deployment of well placed Observer IV Wireless GPRS GSM camera and webcam systems. In addition to monitoring trade
show facilities, parking lot conditions, traffic routes and flow to and from events, crowd levels and even
near-real time weather conditions can all be monitored from any computer in the world with an Internet connection.
The Observer IV wireless surveillance camera and webcam system can be automatically triggered to take pictures by
external events from motion detectors, infrared heat sensors, or many other types of remote event triggers and
sensors. The camera and webcam system can be set to automatically take pictures at specific intervals of time,
for example, once every 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes. This provides a time-lapse effect when viewing changes or other
activity over the course of several hours or each day.

Work Progress Remotely - Transmit Camera & Webcam Pictures
With the Observer IV wireless camera and webcam system, convention, trade show and meeting organizers and event
coordinators can continuously monitor work progress during set-up or at construction sites or other facilities or
traffic route and parking lot projects throughout the day. Set-up coordinators and facilities managers can
monitor construction worker's compliance with federal and state government regulations. Worker safety can be
monitored and potentially hazardous work conditions can be detected and then rectified. Event operations
personnel can be alerted when a security breach or illegal trespass at any remote or unsecured area has occured.
Monitoring and surveillance of remote areas can occur, as long as these areas are located within GPRS GSM
cellular coverage areas.

Mobile or Temporary Special Event Surveillance Camera
& Webcam
The Observer IV wireless camera and webcam system is easily moved as the visual monitoring and surveillance
requirements for any particular special event changes. The Observer camera and webcam can be moved as projects
or programs are completed and new surveillance requirements arise. The camera system can be used for temporary
or short-term operations or surveillance needs.
For example, a group of Observer wireless camera and webcam systems could be moved into position on a temporary
basis to provide surveillance for a special event such as an off-site corporate meeting or remote trade show
event. Observer can provide continuous, round-the-clock surveillance and monitoring during such event. The
camera and webcam system can easily be moved around any given site or to new sites as target surveillance areas
change.

Viewing Pictures or Images using Your Computer
There are many ways
to view pictures after Observer IV has automatically uploaded them to
an FTP server. Included with Observer IV is FTP client software that
automatically checks the FTP server for new pictures from up to four
cameras simultaneously at user selected time intervals.
You may download Colorado Video's FTPJPGReader software now and try it by following these instructions.
A browser, like the one your using now, may also be used to view pictures.
For instance, just type "ftp://www.colorado-video.com/incoming/" into your browser's address bar to see a list of files on Colorado Video's FTP server.
Click on a ".jpg" to view it.
If you're using the Opera browser, you can set it to automatically update the picture periodically.
Simply click "Navigation" then "Reload Every" and then select your desired update time interval.
Opera has a great feature here because it can be used to update any web page automatically at any time interval you desire.
