Video Frame Grabber, Video Freeze Frame - 441C Series The Model 441C Video Frame Store, Video Frame Grabber, Video Freeze Frame or Video Memory, is a full frame, high resolution, video memory for NTSC or PAL composite video. The Video Frame Grabber is a stand-alone, independent, non-computer based video frame grabber. In its "live" mode, the input signal will pass to the output. When the 441 is flipped to its "freeze" mode, it will grab or capture a frame or field of composite video from the input and provide it at its output continually until it is given a command to grab a new image. The "grab" command can be given by a front-panel push-button or rear-panel contact closure input. In "Frame" Mode, resolution is 720H X 480V pixels at 29.97 frames per second. In "Field" Mode, resolution is 720H x 240V pixels at 59.94 fields per second. Field mode may be preferable for grabbing images of rapidly moving subjects with cameras that are not progressive scan. Video inputs to the frame store from analog tape must be time base corrected.
