Law Enforcement Monitoring & Surveillance - Wireless GPRS Camera & Webcam - Observer IV
Monitor Graffiti, Vandalism, Illegal Trespass & Illegal Plant (Marijuana)
Cultivation with Wireless Camera & Webcam
With the Observer IV Monitoring & Surveillance wireless camera and webcam system, Law enforcement and security
personnel can monitor or provide surveillance of graffiti, vandalism and illegal trespass as it is occuring. Law
enforcement can also monitor crops of illegal plant cultivation such as marijuana. With the Observer IV, illegal
or destructive activities such as these can be visually monitored on a continuous basis by personnel located
anywhere in the world with access to an Internet connected computer or phone.
The lack of required cabling and quick setup makes the wireless Observer camera and webcam an attractive solution
for both indoor and outdoor activities. The Observer IV can be setup to periodically capture images of any law
enforcement event requiring surveillance.
If AC power is available, the camera can be configured in continuous mode and the pictures will be updated every
few minutes all day long, otherwise a single set of batteries can provide hundreds of images over the course
of the day . Multiple cameras can provide complete coverage of the entire targeted surveillance area or
specific event. Installation is simple. All that is required is to mount the camera in a location suitable for
acquiring the pictures or images, within a GPRS GSM cellular coverage area.
The Observer IV camera and webcam utilizes a wireless GPRS GSM cellular service. Observer can be operated in
both day and night, with night vision low light infrared capability. Our GPRS GSM wireless surveillance
camera and webcam allows personnel to go to any computer in the world with an Internet connection and view near
real-time digital pictures or images on their browser, ask for a picture or image to be taken at that time, or
schedule pictures to be taken at any desired
time interval.

Event Triggered Vandalism Monitoring & Surveillance Camera & Webcam - Transmit
Images or Pictures Automatically
The Observer IV surveillance camera and webcam system is ideal for monitoring high value targets or a potential
site of vandalism or illegal trespass. The system can be automatically triggered to take pictures by external
events from motion detectors, infrared heat sensors, or many other types of remote event triggers and sensors.
The camera system can be set to automatically take pictures at specific intervals of time, for example, once
every 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes. This provides a time-lapse effect when viewing acts of vandalism, break-ins,
trespass, changes or other activity over the course of several hours or each day.

Portable, Remote Site Stakeout, Police Mission Monitoring
& Surveillance - Transmit Camera & Webcam Pictures
With Observer IV camera and webcam system, law enforcement and support personnel can continuously monitor activity
at remote stakeout sites or police missions throughout the day or night. Security or law enforcement personnel
can be alerted when a security breach or illegal trespass at any remote or unsecured area has occured. Support
personnel can watch what is going on at a stakeout location with personnel located there, particularly useful if
those personnel become disabled or require backup due to a hazardous or dangerous situation arising. Monitoring
and surveillance of remote areas can occur, as long as these areas are located within GPRS GSM cellular coverage
areas. The camera can be triggered to automatically take and transmit a picture or image based upon an external
event such as motion, body heat, fire, or the flash of a gun or other weapon.

Mobile Law Enforcement or Emergency Vehicle or Temporary Event Surveillance
Camera & Webcam
The Observer IV wireless camera and webcam system is portable, and can be attached to police cars during police
missions, fire trucks, and other mobile emergency vehicles. Near real-time pictures can be captured and
transmitted from a mobile vehicle, while it is in route and moving, or once it has arrived at its destination.
The Observer camera and webcam can be moved as surveillance projects or programs are completed and new
surveillance requirements arise. The camera system can be used for temporary or short-term operations or
surveillance needs. For example, a group of Observer camera systems could be moved into position on a temporary
basis to provide additional surveillance along roadways, parking lots or other facilities for a special event
such as a large convention meeting, holiday festival, or parade in town. Observer can provide continuous,
round-the-clock surveillance and monitoring during such event. The camera system can easily be moved around any
given site or to new sites as target surveillance areas change, such as monitoring police cars and emergency
vehicle parking lots.

There are many ways
to view pictures after Observer IV has automatically uploaded them to
an FTP server. Included with Observer IV is FTP client software that
automatically checks the FTP server for new pictures from up to four
cameras simultaneously at user selected time intervals.
You may download Colorado Video's FTPJPGReader software now and try it by following these instructions.
A browser, like the one your using now, may also be used to view pictures.
For instance, just type "ftp://www.colorado-video.com/incoming/" into your browser's address bar to see a list of files on Colorado Video's FTP server.
Click on a ".jpg" to view it.
If you're using the Opera browser, you can set it to automatically update the picture periodically.
Simply click "Navigation" then "Reload Every" and then select your desired update time interval.
Opera has a great feature here because it can be used to update any web page automatically at any time interval you desire.
