The Lookout-V is a snapshot camera that uses the GSM cellular network to transmit JPEG images to the Internet.
In addition to the internal motion detector, the camera can utilize external sensors to extend its intruder-detection capabilities.
These wireless, battery powered devices use an unlicensed radio-frequency spectrum to communicate with the Lookout camera. Their low power requirements allow the sensors to be deployed for up to a year without any required maintenance. The sensors can be programmed to operate on a scheduled basis, allowing activity at the site during part of the day, yet protecting against intruders the rest of the time.
A single Lookout camera operating in conjunction with external sensors can secure a remote area and provide immediate notification and images of intrusive activities.
