The real-time Electronic Video Mirror and Video Scan Reverser electronically reverse (left to right), flip (top to bottom), rotate 180° or swap the video image or picture from an NTSC or PAL color video source so as to create a mirroring, flipped upside down, or 180° rotation effect. This can be called a video mirror image effect. Video image reversal, correction or rotation occurs in real-time.
By Mirroring or flipping a video image, left to right, or top to bottom, the user can correct for upside down mirroring
optics, ceiling mounted cameras, or simulate rearview mirrors.
Several input and output combinations are availabe including:
Composite NTSC/PAL Input and Composite NTSC/PAL Output
S-Video NTSC/PAL Input and S-Video NTSC/PAL Output
Composite NTSC/PAL Input and PC SXGA Output
PC VGA Input and PC VGA Output
Composite and S-Video units are autosensing for NTSC or PAL Video Signals. Conversion from Composite NTSC/PAL to VGA 1280X1024 is possible with models carrying the "NVCN" or "NSCN" prefix.
Video inputs to these units from analog tape must be time base corrected.
