Video Screen Splitter, Video Split Screen, Video Wiper        613 Series The Model 613 series Video Screen Splitter, Video Split Screen, Video Wiper, Video Display Splitter, Split Screen or Split Image unit can split, wipe or display two video images on one screen or a dual video image on one screen, one image over the other or side by side, to make portions of each viewable on a single monitor. Images from two cameras can be displayed on one video monitor. This adjustable screen splitter can split an image, mix, wipe, overlay or switch an image or display from two different CCTV video sources, creating dual video images or pictures on one screen. A front panel control selects whether the screen is split horizontally or vertically. A control knob determines the proportion of the screen allocated to each source, adjustable from 0% to 100%. Video inputs to the screen splitters from analog tape must be time base corrected. Normally, a video screen splitter cuts away a portion of each picture in order to make room on the screen for the corresponding portion of the other picture. For instance, if set for a 50%/50% split display, only 50% of each picture will be visible. Therefore, special attention should be taken in aiming the cameras at their subjects. The Video Screen Splitter Model 613 Series provides a unique "anamorphic" mode that squeezes two full pictures to fit, in their entirety, side-by-side, on your display in a 50%/50% split.
