Railroad & Train Car, Station, Depot & Track Monitoring & Surveillance Wireless GPRS Camera & Webcam - Lookout VI
Monitor Railroad & Train Car Location & Inventory, Train Station & Depot
Surveillance with Camera & Webcam
Railroad and train company personnel or customers often wish to monitor the current location of their rail or
train cars or inventory located in rail or train cars or stored at train depots, stations or warehouses, sometimes
in remote areas or locations. With the Lookout VI Railroad & Train Car, Station & Depot Monitoring &
Surveillance Camera & Webcam system, rail & train cars can be quickly located and can be visually monitored on a
continuous basis by personnel located anywhere. The Lookout VI camera and webcam system utilizes a wireless
GPRS GSM cellular service.
The Lookout VI camera and webcam system can be operated in both day and night, with night vision low light
infrared capability. Our GPRS GSM wireless surveillance camera allows personnel to go to any computer in the
world with an Internet connection and view near real-time digital pictures or images on their browser, ask for a
picture or image to be taken at that time, or schedule pictures to be taken at any desired time interval.
Installation is simple. All that is required is to mount the camera in a location suitable for acquiring the
pictures or images required. Once installed, the Lookout VI camera and webcam system can deliver images or
pictures unattended for up to a year on a single set of batteries.

Monitor Railroad Train Track Conditions, Presence of Natural Hazards or
Obstructions - Transmit Camera & Webcam Images or Pictures
Near real-time pictures or images from the Lookout camera and webcam of rail & train track conditions can easily
be shared with any personnel for their viewing of current natural hazard conditions. Hazards affecting train
track and railroad operations such as avalanches, landslides, mudslides, loose rock, icing, flooding or obstacles
crossing the rail or track such as stalled cars, trucks or buses, or animal crossings such as cattle, cows or
other wildlife, can be quickly identified, possibly assisting train companies in avoiding accidents or minimizing
slow-down of train operations. Current weather conditions along remote stretches of train track can be monitored
as well.
The Lookout VI surveillance camera and webcam system can be automatically triggered to take pictures by external
events from motion detectors, infrared heat sensors, or many other types of remote event triggers and sensors.
The camera and webcam system can be set to automatically take pictures at specific intervals of time, for example,
once every 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes. This provides a time-lapse effect when viewing railroad train track
conditions & natural hazards activity over the course of several hours or each day.

Monitor Railroad Train Station, Depot & Train Track Construction
Projects & Work Progress - Transmit Camera & Webcam Pictures
With the Lookout VI camera and webcam, railroad & train company personnel can continuously monitor work progress
at train stations, depots or rail or train track construction sites or other facilities or land management projects
throughout the day. Management can monitor construction worker's compliance with federal and state government
regulations. Worker safety can be monitored and potentially hazardous work conditions can be detected and then
rectified. Train operations personnel can also be alerted when a security breach or illegal trespass at any
remote or unsecured area has occured. Monitoring and surveillance of remote areas can occur, as long as these
areas are located within GPRS GSM cellular coverage areas.

Mobile or Temporary Railroad Train Car, Station, Depot or Track Surveillance
Camera & Webcam
The Lookout VI camera and webcam is easily moved as the visual monitoring and surveillance requirements for any
particular natural hazard or railroad train operation changes. Lookout can be moved as projects or programs are
completed and new surveillance initiatives are started. The camera and webcam system can be used for temporary
or short-term operations or surveillance needs.
For example, a group of Lookout camera and webcam systems could be moved into position on a temporary basis
around high-activity natural hazard such as an active landslide area or glacier of interest to provide continuous,
round-the-clock surveillance and monitoring during some particular event. The camera system can easily be moved
around any given site or to new sites such as rail yards or train car warehouses or storage facilities as target
surveillance areas change.
