Cross Line Generator 619 Series The Model 619 Video Cross Hair Generator, Video Cross Line Generator, Video XY Positioner & Video XY Indicator superimpose a crosshair or crossline onto real-time video signals. The user can adjust the position of these lines by means of high precision multiple turn controls. Controls are screwdriver adjustable to make accidental readjustment impossible. With a front panel switch, the user can set the lines to White, Black, or Off. A switch to select solid or dashed lines is available as the "M" Option on all Models.
Applications Component Pick & Place Cross hairs or cross lines on video systems used for setting up automated electronic component pick and place machines allow an operator to precisely train the machine as to where components belong on a PC board. Laser Marking & Laser Welding A cross hair or cross line equipped video camera and monitor system can indicate where a powerful laser is going to hit before it's pulsed. Cutting and Sawing A video picture with crosslines superimposed can facilitate proper alignment of a silicon wafer or other material before it's cut. Highway Striping Equipped with carefully mounted cameras, cross hair or cross line generator, and a video monitor in the cab, a striping truck easily puts highway stripes precisely where they belong. Units featuring loop-through input with two input connectors allow connection of both a video source and a destination to the input. For instance, a camera can be connected to one of the Model 619's input connectors and a monitor to the other. In this way, the video image can be observed directly as it comes from the camera (without cross lines or cross hair) via the loop-through input, while the image with the cross lines or cross hair is present at the Model 619's output.
