Download FTPJPGReaderInstall12.exe, run it, and follow the instructions given by the installation wizard.
Configuring FTPJPG Reader
Click or double click its icon to run FTPJPG Reader. A blank gray
window will appear.
Click "File" and then "Configure".
Type your desired image-refresh time interval into the provided box.
Select whether you want images to appear in actual size or to fit to
their window.
If you want to archive images on your computer checkmark the "Archive"
box and type in the name of the folder where you want images stored.
Click "OK".
Click "File" and then "FTPJPG".
In the "FTP Address" box, type the name of the server storing pictures you want to view, for instance: www.colorado-video.com.
In the "User ID" box type your user name. For demonstration purposes use: anonymous.
Anonymous users don't need passwords, so leave it blank. Click the "Connect" button.
A directory tree and possibly some files will appear in the dialog
box. In most cases you will have to view jpg images stored in a
particular folder. In this case double click the "incoming" folder.
Here you'll see all of the files in the folder. Jpg picture files will
have boxes to their left. Checkmark the boxes to indicate which
pictures you'd like FTPJPG Reader to show and periodically check for
updates (up to a maximum of four files).
Click "Open".
Running FTPJPG Reader
A window will open for each picture you indicated you wish to view.
You can size and position the windows to your liking by dragging the
frame with your mouse. FTPJPG Reader will indicate new pictures by
displaying a camera icon in the upper left. Remove the icon by clicking
the picture. The icon will reappear if FTPJPG Reader downloads a
picture that has changed since its last download.
FTPJPG Reader will remember the "Conifgure" and "FTPJPG" settings
between sessions. You can exit and restart the program without having
to configure again.
