Video Pointer, Video Box & Cross Hair,
Video Pattern Generator - Model 610
The Model 610E Video Pointer, Video Pattern Generator superimposes a video box outline, of adjustable size and
position, and similarly adjustable cross hair onto a real-time video signal or image. The video pattern outline
can be continuously varied from black to white and turned on or off. For control of the video box's size and
position, the Model 610E Video Pointer & Box Generator provides front panel H-size, H-position, V-size, and
V-position controls and a port with corresponding input pins. Size controls effect the video box symmetrically.
The loop-through input with two connectors allows connection of both a video source and a destination to the
input. For instance, a camera can be connected to one of the Model 610E Video Pointer's input connectors and a
monitor to the other. In this way, the video image or picture can be observed directly as it comes from the
video camera (without the generated box / cross hair pattern) via the loop-through input, while the image with
the superimposed pattern is present at the Model 610E's video output.
Power input requirement is 120 VAC at about 10 Watts. An AC power cord is included.
